Welcome to the Silicon Valley Vietnam Round Table website
Our Round Table was founded in March, 2019 for two basic reasons: many of our brother and sister Vietnam or Vietnam-Era veterans were passing on without their experiences being told and because we wanted a group to share the stories and history with.
This group is modeled after the Central Pennsylvania Round Table of Harrisburg, Pa., not far from my boyhood home. (centralpavietnamroundtable.com)
The Round Table is all about the history of the Vietnam War both written and oral. The Round Table is about the VN Vet thanking him/her for their service and welcoming them home. The Round Table has four ideals: welcome home, thank you for your service, Never Forgotten - POW/MIA, and some gave all/all gave some.
All Vietnam/Era veterans are welcome to come and tell of their life's experiences: before, during, and after Vietnam
If you’re a historian and would like to share a topic of interest with the group, come on down.
We meet at 7:30pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month at a venue in the South Bay, maybe a Starbucks or a Pizza Parlor depending on the need.
Meetings are informal and open to the public. There are no dues, we pass the hat. Refreshments are served. Stay after the meeting and socialize.
